RESORT LOCATION: Lohifushi is located in North Malé
Atoll, 25.7 km from the airport. It’s a mere 30 minutes ride by
speedboat and 1 ½ hour by traditional motorized boat, locally
known as “dhoni”, to take your to your dream island paradise.
The fascinating ride will give you a foretaste of the beautiful surroundings
and the exotic atmosphere awaiting you on the resort.
RESORT ACCOMMODATION: The resort has 130 individual seafacing
bungalows, all with ceiling fans and mini bars (a supplement is payable
for air-conditioning).
The traditional open-air bathrooms feature hot and cold showers.
Lohifushi offers rooms for every taste, standard and budget, designed and equipped in such a way that you feel immediately at home: Standard, Superior, Deluxe rooms and Suites. All rooms are situated closely to the beach and offer hot and cold water, IDD telephone and an open- air bathroom in traditional Maldivian style.
Standard rooms: Our 43 Standard rooms are conveniently
close to the beach and general facilities, located in individual bungalows
and blocks of two or three rooms. Of simple design, yet equipped with
everything you need for a comfortable holiday, such as fan, mini bar,
IDD telephone and a terrace with a beach bed from where you can enjoy
the sea view.
Superior rooms: The 67 superior rooms offer the additional luxury of
air-conditioning and a bathtub besides a shower, mini bar, IDD telephone,
and fan and are to be found in individual bungalows or in two-room-blocks
as inter-connecting family rooms.
Deluxe Rooms: Our 18 individual deluxe rooms make sure that you have everything your heart desires and more. Make yourself a cup of coffee and tea, enjoy your favourite programme on satellite television and make full use of the mini bar, IDD telephone, bathtub, shower and hair drier. Enjoy the magnificent view from the terrace or sit in the small private garden during the cool hours of the afternoon.
Suites: Our two exclusive suites provide you with the utmost comfort
and luxury. Tastefully furnished and with all the amenities that make
your stay memorable, such as mini bar, shower, bathtub, IDD telephone,
tea/coffee making facilities, satellite TV, hair drier, terrace and
a small private garden. Relax in your private Jacuzzi and enjoy life
at its best. Both suites have inter-connecting doors – ideal for
families.
RESTAURANT: At Lohifushi a meal is not just a meal, but also an event not to be missed. You will find yourself wondering what delicacies await you in the evening and looking forward to waking up to a hearty breakfast. Italian, Maldivian, Chinese or a barbecue – the choice is yours. The 4 bars are located in key areas, the ideal places to relax after a hot day on the beach or in the water and the centre of entertainment in the evening.
RECREATIONAL FACILITIES: The Sports facilities
inclued squash, table tennis, darts, table football, volleyball, badminton
and billiards. In the clear waters around the island you may dive, snorkel,
windsurfing, catamaran sailing, water ski, and banana boat riding on
a crystal-clear water lagoon, which is one of the best in the country.
